OPEN ROLES

  • This is a part-time position with the potential for a permanent FT role.

    About You

    You do not need to know everything about the chocolate making process but you should have the desire to learn about this subject. You must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and set priorities accordingly. You should have strong verbal communication skills, a positive team spirit, be responsible and accountable, and have the desire to grow and develop yourself. But most importantly, you should love chocolate as much as we do.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Service:

    • Welcome, engage, and establish a positive rapport with customers.

    • Educate customers about Delavoye Chocolate Maker products and services.

    • Take customers’ orders and serve drinks and baked goods as needed.

    • Perform transactions using point of sale (POS).

    Perform Maintenance:

    • Open and close the factory boutique when required.

    • Learn and maintain workspaces and equipment following AHS regulations.

    • Prepare packaging for products.

    Be a Team player:

    • Be a positive, team-oriented player who fosters a safe and comfortable work environment.

    • Identify ways to improve our factory’s products and procedures to benefit the entire team.

    • Any other tasks required.

    Experience

    • 2 years sales/customers service (preferred)

    • 2 years barista experience (preferred)

    Salary

    • From $18.00 per hour plus tips

    Shift

    • 6 to 8 hour shifts

    • Part-time: Up to 30 hours

    Shift availability

    • Day shift, Evening shift, Weekend. Weekend availability is a must.

    Work Location

    • In-person (Edmonton)
