Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

We’re a small bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Edmonton, and we treat your information the way we treat our cacao: with care. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why. We follow Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

  • Your name, email, phone number and shipping and billing addresses when you order

  • Your order details and any messages you send us

  • Your email address if you sign up for our newsletter

  • Basic information about how you use our site, such as pages visited and browser type, collected through cookies

We don’t store your card details. Our payment processor handles your payment securely.

Why we collect it

We use your information to fill and ship your orders, answer your questions and run our website. We only send newsletters and offers if you’ve signed up, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.

Who we share it with

We share only what’s needed with the services that help us run our shop:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website and online store

  • Our payment processor, to take payment

  • Shipping carriers (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx or Purolator), to deliver your order

  • Google, to measure and improve our ads

Some of these companies may store information outside Canada.

We never sell your personal information.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working, understand visits and measure our Google ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may not work properly without them.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from our emails at any time. Just write to us and we’ll reply within 30 days.
